The Hudson Valley Jazz Festival completed it’s 14th season this past.Aug 9-14. Over the past few years we became regional. Each performance generally highlighting local talent and in several towns and different types of venues. We’ve been honored to present high profile jazz artists in the past. However our mission was to primarily featuring groups led by Hudson Valley NY resident artists. ( Who they hire is up to them). We’re all about helping raise the profile of musicians with years of experience deserving wider recognition. We appreciate the coverage given to us by The NY Times, DownBeat, The Village Voice, JazzTimes, WBGO Radio, Chronogram, Straus News, Times Herald Record, Hudson Valley Magazine and others.
The goal was to become a collaborative organization working with musicians, venues, towns and organizations to produce concerts. To a degree it worked.
